You weren't kidding about the smell!
You weren't kidding about the smell! Like SWMBO said at the time, don't mix Kir, Cider, Pork Scratchings and Apple & Pork pie together as they will produce rather a large flatulence problem ;-) So out of the 250 available ciders at Middle Farm in Lewes I take it you have cleared the 6 litres you bought then? Good place for a run out sometime when I've got rid of the feckin flu, and another Cider sampling session. Hope your adventure to visit your *friend* ended fruitfully so to speak....... -- -- Robbo Trophy 1200 1998 BotaFOF #19. E.O.S.M 2001/2002/2003/2004. B.O.S.M 2003, 2004 FURSWB#1 KotL..YTC449 PM#7 ..
It was the pork scratchings that exacerbated the problem. I ate the pie on the way to Ovingdean but didn't notice the effects until about midnight after a lot of driving and a lot of munching ;o) I managed to demolish 4 litres after eating the wild boar and apple sausages. There's a funny effect with that cider - You don't notice or feel your pissed until you start banging into things. Most definitely. I'd like to try the Yew Tree pub next time, the bloke in the winery's description make the portions sound enormous. Will be going down there again probably but when exactly I don't know.
You weren't kidding about the smell! So you've still got the Kir to drink then..... <fx> Sits back with popcorn and awaits the show on the morning after hangover...... <fx off> Yew Tree sounds good to me..... In a few weeks time mebbe. -- -- Robbo Trophy 1200 1998 BotaFOF #19. E.O.S.M 2001/2002/2003/2004. B.O.S.M 2003, 2004 FURSWB#1 KotL..YTC449 PM#7 ..
Two bottles of it. I was tempted to take them to the BOSM, but this: Makes me think it's not a good idea. It's a date. I'd like to take my bike next time ;o)
