where would be the best place to get a set of spare wheels for my
'blade ideally with racing wets on?

Any idea what sort of price I'd have to pay? I'm looking for some
"emergency it's fucking raining" trackday items, so cosmetics aren't
    important...

Nah - he didn't specify what colour valve caps he wanted!

Actually I reckon he wants them so he can look 'cool' at the track days -
look at me I've got two sets of wheels.

I reckon he's taking it far to seriously. I *might* check the tyre
pressures before I go to Snetterton.

Brakes - checking your brakes is something I'd recommend :)

This is the blade you want to flog, right?

"Nah, mate. It's never been near a track..."

Two at the front, one at the back. Yep, looks good to me.

I'm not thinking about my up-coming trackday, because for it, I'd have
no way of taking spare wheels with me.

    Just idle speculation, really...

It was just curiousity - if they were fairly cheap, it'd be something
    to spend money on...

    "might want to flog".
I don't see why people would care.

"Never raced" is much more important.

Champ's garage. He works 9 - 5, but don't worry if his car is outside
his house: he's not in; he walks to work.

    good call.

And he's not that bothered about bike theft, is he?

And even if he is, he'll get over it quickly.

After all, "what's behind you isn't important"

yeah, I know. Aren't wheels wheels, though i.e. how different would,
    say, CBR600 wheels be?
Yeah, I know, but that always reminds me of Wendy O. Williams.
that's a little more than I had in mind - Champ has brainwashed me
into believing race bike bits are cheap.
I don't think I've ever seen a tyre seller at a trackday. Could be me
just not being observant, though. Anyway, wouldn't these be rip-off
    merchants?

First place that I would try would be the For Sale bit at www.bemsee.co.uk.

Failing that, try Blacks Bike shop, they usually have a ton of spares.

well, OK then - in the (un)likely event of it pissing down when I'm at
Snetterton next month, and there's a van there, I'll get him to swap
my Rennsports for wets, and then...I suppose I'll have to ride home
with two (extra) spare tyres around my belly or something...
