    It'll cruise at 55-60. Top whack 75. No worries.[/QUOTE]

I still haven't forgiven it for the puncture on its first journey.
Mind you Auntie Carol gives me European cover. I'll think about it. It
still needs a new battery, kick start makes you lazy.

Heh. I may be convinced to take it at this rate.
I have nerve. And bravado. It's time and cold hard cash that are
    lacking.

still no news as to whether I've still got a job[1] after July 20th, so I
think Chimay is out again this year.

still, by next year I might have hoarded enough pennies to do a top (side?)
end rebuild on the SOBoxer. It's definitely down on power[2] and the
valvegear is way noisier than it should be.

I reckon it wants new rings and a hone (or maybe a rebore) and reworked
heads, all of which costs money.

[1] for which read: "main income-generating contract", job is easier to
    type.
[2] it'll just about get to 85. in the past I've seen 95 on the clock.

Oh yeah, those, they're upstairs. Can't I just follow someone?
Ideal. Lots of coffee around 7am, leave here for 8am.

It's 3 weeks away, I'll change my mind at least 5 times.
Yes, Chimay is OK, it's the Africa run I was referring to.

  8. Yebbut, you had the *only* Benly with a spare wheel and tyre, didn't
    you?

Dunno about a Benly really. I do like 'em, and I do have both a CD175
    and CD185 in my igarage.

A small stroker might be fun, although I do still have the remains of a
TS50 languishing round the side of the shed, which could do with either
    rebuilding or binning.

You are a sicker puppy than I thought.
By the time you get round to rebuilding it you can flog it to my
daughter, she'll have her licence by then.
