With the inclement weather being that unpredictable, and the transport
system of lorries dumping diesel all over the place I haven't been to
collect said item from Black Horse.
Can either of you advise location of said item so we can arrange either post
    or collection another time?
    I remember there's a link on EBay for a courier http://www.parcel2go.com/
that'll do it for £8.99, so might be an option.
    Thanks for everything thus far.

It's at the Black Horse. Well, it was last night, whether Mandy decided
to ebay it and **** off on a world cruise from the proceeds is another
    matter.
    Well, quite.

    Will collect Sunday instead.
Many thanks for your assistance and thanks to Platy for the item.

Must admit being quite close to that accident on M25 and stopped there for
around an hour in a monsoon did put a damper on further progress otherwise
    I'd have got it today.

I saw the chaos from the other carriageway near the A12 turn-off. What
was it that crashed? There were quite a few recovery vehicles in
    attendance.

I used to maintain that the mark of a tech support person was a palm-print
on the forehead. Experience has taught me that this isn't confined to tech
    support.

Must admit being quite close to that accident on M25 and stopped there
I wasn't paying much attention to the actualities I was more concerned about
the rubber necking cunts that were drifting from lane to lane.
As for the repeat performance at the M1 junction and the continuing monsoon
I felt that the odds of another 120 miles weren't in my favour.

Whatever but in addition[1] they are digging up the M11 both sides of
the Magic Roundabout which is adding to any congestion problems in the
    area.

[1] So I am told of course as I don't do motorways on the Pacemaker.
Far, far too stimulating that is.
