    <puzzled>

    When is it not available?

Or do you just mean when it's free?

Ah, so "bear" actually means "beer"? That explains something that's been
    puzzling me:

Yes, but that goes without saying. Who would drink something they
didn't like over the course of a session?

It's also entirely subjective, therefore useless as a broad reference.

Oh, well of course. I rarely drink anything else when flying short
trips - only on long-haul will I also go for the red wine with a good
dinner and port with the cheese as well... then back onto the
    champers, of course :)

Anyway, this is ukrm. We don't do "add[ing] to the debate". We do
    opinionated guff in the main.

I hate to tell you this Nige, but that was Leffe Ruby, which is
actually only 5%, and considered a bit of a ladies beer. You had one
glass of it.. so about half a pint in real money.

Perhaps from this point forward you should just say you were
dehydrated, in case we take the piss...

    Ah.

Hence my lack of understanding of the term. Any beer weak enough for
me to drink all evening would generally be referred to by the rest of
    you as "water".

    LOL.

    Was it like this:

(part of which is rendered by someone playing JCC in 'Control' - about
the best bit of the whole film)

probably not far off - the waiter said something to Cab in French, and
then "you English - fucking this and fucking that".
    I haven't seen it yet.

I remember when Bear first appeared around here, and claimed ignorance
of this definition of the word.

Actually Ginge, to be honest I stay away from strong beers as they just
don't agree with me, but I can drink a fucking lot of 4-5% beer ;)
