I was doing the barefoot and chained to the kitchen sink thing (1).
The dishwasher was full, so I had to don skivvy garb and wash all the
mugs up from the round of coffees earlier.

I usually 'get a man in' but he was otherwise occupied.

(1) Don't even *think* about adding the other part of that phrase nto
the equation!
