I'm actually contemplating a voluntary redundancy package at the
moment... Not a great one, mind, and I'm not actually sure they'll let
me take it, as I'm still of use to them.


I really should test the job market with a CV this week.

 

I've never worked anywhere for long enough that a redundancy package
would ever have been worth much.

do it quick before the coming stock market slump.

 

You're not the only one.... my cv flew out as soon as the announcement.

Rememeber redundancy money is taxfree..

 

I've been there 4 years, and am being offered less than that, which is
why not leaving is also a viable option.

 

I know, I've read all the crap they sent out. It all depends on the only
lead I have at the moment falling just right, doesn't look like I'm the
perfect candidate, but it's worth a punt.

Anybody work for a rather large consultancy in Telford...?

No. I did go for an interview at Telford but decided I didn't like
