On the Thursday. Billed as a classic sprint, but very much a run what you brung do, with all manner of unlikely machines taking part. The VMCC also finish one of their runs and put the bikes on display in Mooragh Park on the same day. So we usually take the opportunity to wander around. Quite fun scrutinising the increasing number of Italian 25 year olds (bikes!), including Morinis, taking part. The two day trial is worth a look if you are over for the first weekend. We tend to seek out the sidecars. The last section which sees an ascent of the steps on Douglas Head is fun. For solos, Dhoon Quarry, usually on Sunday afternoon, has several tough sections. OK.
