    Some cat-keeping houses do also stink, but I put that largely down to
    poor cleaning. Having hard floors everywhere, a feeding area in the
    cellar and the litter trays[1] in th garage helps, mind.


    [1] For years I didn't use them, but ironically the hard floors seem
    to make it much more difficult for the cats to understand 'inside'.
