Oh, I wondered wtf was going on about a couple of hours ago when dropbox
started downloading all its stuff again. I sorta thought you'd revised
the list or contents or something, but I see now you were probably
uploading them all - once more.

 

I'm thinking any system which confuses so many seemingly intelligent
people cannot be considered worthwhile.

I only noticed yesterday using dropbox on my phone but I assumed I didn't tick
a box as it was the first time I'd used it whilst mobile.

Adie then emailed(1) asking what was going on which alerted me to the culprit.

Bollocks.

Dunno what's happened there 'cos they're still in mine, and in a copied
folder .. but, bang to rights, if it was me it was me. Apologies all
round 'specially if it's cost anyone anything on a mobile network.

I probably owe some of you a pint or three whenever we meet.

Actually, I just clicked on my desktop dropbox folder and it says I've
left calibre library, and my desktop folder is empty .. but it's not
something I've actually done, I've not touched the feckin' thing since
last time!

I suppose my son could have done something 'cos he's been borrowing
this laptop (the only one with dropbox on it) for revision and report
writing while his is repaired, but he's on a different User Account and
he can't (isn't supposed to be able to) access my stuff from his
account as he isn't an administrator a/c.

And Friday (20th) when it was done I wasn't at work as I'd took the day
off so didn't get up till about 8am .. and the pic says 6:43am ..
