Tomorrow morning, I have to got to a place called Finedon to pick up a car
[1]. I'm getting a train to Northampton, which British Rail, [2] laughingly
assure me will get me there at 11:22. Now, does anyone have any suggestions
as to how to get to Finedon from there? Train? Bus? Hitch (mebbee take me
lid, that'd impress the geezer I'm buying the V6 Mondeo off, specially if I
wear me Getrag-Ford overalls! )? or is ther a local ricshaw service
    perchance?

[1]little tip here: If you really must bid for something you have to pick up
yourself on ebay when pissed, make sure it's *fuckin* local and *not in the
middle of fuckin nowhere! (but then you probably already knew that. It's
    just me; I'm a thick ****).

[2] 0r whatever the cunts are calling themselves these days.

Change the travel time - the Northampton train usually stops at
Wellingborough (used to work there) it shares the same line.

Finedon is then about 1.5 miles up the A509 or A510 (dont remember)
Buses will run to Finedon from Wellingborough, pretty big village (with
a half reasonable Kawa specialist there)

IIRC, it should be Kings Cross when it runs out of track

Surely you're not trying to make out that *you* know more than the man in
New Delhi?!?!! Come along now, he is Internationally acclaimed as the
'Fountain Of Knowledge (UK train system)' . This is only since he resigned
his 'Fountain Of Knowledgeship (honourary)' at the Norwich Union, (Madras)
HQ (though the word on the street is that he struggled to master the subtle
difference between Brummie and Black Country accents).

You don't what? Have half a clue about posting to Usenet? Yes, so it
    would seem.

In future, please include at least some context from the previous
    post.

    How very, very wrong.

Silverlink trains from Euston terminate at Northampton (Virgin trains
use the same route), but Robbie doesn't want to go there if he's aiming
for Finedon. The closest station to Finedon is Wellingborough. Robbie
    wants Midland Mainline:

    http://www.midlandmainline.com/DisplayStationList.asp

Robbie probably won't find a Hackney cab at the station, but could try
ringing ahead for a private hire cab, or try the ten minute walk into
the town centre and find a bus (or licensed hackney carriage) going
    that way.

Anchor Kawasaki. And half reasonable is damning with faint praise since
it implies half unreasonable. I once bought a cheap helmet there, which
I soon replaced, and a speedo cable. They're an ok bunch.

Thanks for sharing. What a coincidence. My sister used to live half a mile
    from Newton Abbott. Small world.

A quick google shows a bus every hour from Northampton to Finedon:

And I am currently sitting exactly 28.2 miles away from Finedon. What
are the chances of that? Time to buy a lottery ticket..

Finedon's a shithole full of pikies. Check the VIN plate and stamped
numbers in the floor haven't been tampered with, seriously.
