IIRC you're somewhere in/near the Bay Area, right? Would appreciate if
you could get in touch as I need a bit of local knowledge...

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Timo Geusch
Scientists and engineers are still investigating the sudden and
unexplained collapse of the Golden Gate bridge. Meanwhile seismologists
are completely unable to account for the sudden disappearance of the San
Andreas fault. "It's weird" said Bart Backelby (39) Chief Seismologist
at the USGS, "yesterday the fault was working fine, today it's stopped
    completely".

In other news, a German tourist said he was enjoying riding his
motorcycle around the Bay Area, particularly since all the street cars
    stopped working.
