Mr. Fantastic says... Lots of fun then. Yep, I know it's there on the switch, but if you turn yours on does your front parking light come on as well as the rear parking light, or not? Cos when I investigated this last year there wasn't a provision for a front parking light either in the cluster or the wiring loom on the L model, but there is on the H. You could say that, considering I was worried about just the same thing last year and mentioned it to him at the MOT, to which he replied that not all bikes have the facility. This year he has decided that as the light switch has the facility then the front h/l must have too. -- Lesley ZXR400SP SBS#11[with oak-leaf cluster] BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Un-cork me to reply
It's not something I often use but I think it does, yes. I'll check when I get home tonight however. Possibly time to find a new MOT place, perhaps?
Mr. Fantastic says... Did you get a chance to check> Which was my sentiment, yes. He also informed me that I had changed a lot at the front of the bike since last time. My answer was, 'so, the facility to enable the rear brake light to operate changed something on the front, then?' I will be doing, after all despite the fact that my bike is an import and has had the same zorst on it when it was imported, if I did butcher the headlight system on it then next year it would be the fact that the zorst didn't have the relevant coding on it, despite it (by then) passing an MOT for 5 years. This time next year it shouldn't be a problem, mind, as hopefully it will have changed dramatically into another bike. -- Lesley ZXR400SP SBS#11[with oak-leaf cluster] BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Un-cork me to reply
Mr. Fantastic says... Hmm. Puzzled, I am. Thanks for that, I need to look into that. The bikes a Jap import hence the fact that the headlights dip to the left so obviously there was no need to replace them. -- Lesley ZXR400SP SBS#11[with oak-leaf cluster] BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Un-cork me to reply
