Aaargh! Now I have to make a decision...

See, the thing is, the Beeb reckon it's going to rain on the Saturday,
and I really can't do it if it's raining because there's a lathe that
can't be moved, and it'll get wet.

So I'm thinking maybe Sunday. But the five day forecast doesn't tell me
    about that until tomorrow.

So, in summary, I think probably not. But maybe.

    *sigh*

    I'm fucking useless, aren't I?

  3. Still got one of those ballast bags left over from last time? That'll
Well, according to Auntie it will rain Wednesday and Thursday so that'll
mean Friday as well. With the law of averages being what they are then
Saturday will be dry (with the ground still being wet) and Sunday will
    be drizzly.

Can't you get a big tarp, or even some plastic sheeting? The DIY
stores do big bits of plastic sheeting for a few quid - you should be
able to adequately wrap the lathe in that.

If you're going to wait for guaranteed dry weather, you've picked the
    wrong country to live in.

OK, sod it. Let's give it a whirl. The worst that can happen is that the
existing walls collapse and we all get killed.

I shall molish a new thread. Wait one.
