If you're looking for an easy addition to your quotas, this is the
route I'll be taking to the EOSM, unless anyone has any better
    suggestions:

    A404 to High Wycombe
    A4010 to Aylesbury
    A413 towards Towcester
    A43 to Towcester
    A5 to Hinckley
    A447 via Ibstock to A511
    A511 to Woodville
    A514 to Derby
    A6 to Duffield
B5023 then B5024 towards Cross o the Hands
    A517 to Hulland Ward

A bit boring that one, but still better than the M1.
And here is where you go wrong and end up in gatso central.

So, A447...and just a little bit of A511
(there may or may not be gatsos on this stretch, but think you're safe).

Join the B587 just the other side of the M42.
(following signs for Melbourne, then Derby)
Then take the faster and non Gatso-free
    A50
    A38 (north, signposted Derby)

The take the first exit after the A52 roundabout (it's about 6 or 7
miles after you get onto the A38, the sliproad being about 1/4 mile
after the second roundabout you come to)

    Here -
    http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=434000&y=337680&z=5&sv=
    435000,335000&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf

Follow the signs for Keddleston, then Hulland.

The pub will be the first building you come to as you enter Hulland,
enjoy the ride, the roads (other than A50/A38) are all good fun.

That word shouldn't be there, I blame Stella Artois and her mysterious
    spellchecker.

The A5/M69 roundabout has a curiously non-stick surface,
particularly on the A5 west exit.
Better to look like a wimp than join all the BMWs in the ditch. :)

<G> I was just finkin' dat.

Where you wanna meet up? Somewhere near you'd make most sense as I don't
mind blatting out West a smidge before heading North. Say the A404/A4
    interchange rdbt or further up?
