You still got a Gericke catalogue kicking around the place?

I'm looking for an armoured all-in-one winter suit to replace my Gericke
job that's got a busted front zip.....

    Do they still do one?

Not that I know of. I find two piece suits far more practical anyway. I
was never asked for one-piece armoured suits in my time with Gericke,
everyone wanted seperates. They do sell a range of good one-piece non-
armoured suits to wear over leathers.

    Hmmm. I'll keep looking, then.

I loved my 1-piece winter suit when I last commuted by bike in the
winter - always found it a lot less hassle than having 2 pieces of
    clothing to put on.

I suppose I could always get the old one cleaned and a new zip put in
    it.

I've no idea what they are like in terms of quality or price but one of
these would seem to fit the bill.

    Just the job. But £250!

Mind, considering I wouldn't hesitate to pay that for leathers, I
    suppose it's worth a look.

Well you are hardly going to get a decent armoured cordura type suit for
less than that you tight git.

I'm offended, what with that statement coming from a Scotsman ;-)

I think I'd bite their hand off for that money. Pity they don't do my size.
