Paging Lozzo : second opinion requested

Could I trouble you to take a butchers at these:

Is the bore likely to be fucked do you think? If so ICBA to lift the
head etc. If not I might have a look myself.

There's a good chance the barrel is fucked - IIRC you said it is Nikasil
plated, in which case it's almost a certainty. If it's got hot enough to
seize, it's been hot enough to wreck the plating. That piston has
certainly picked up on the bore, and you'll have a shitbag of a job
trying to get the remnants of the piston of it without damaging the
plating anyway.

Sorry squire, but I think you're in for aeither a new barrel or at least
the cost of replating the one you have. Stan Stephens can get the
plating done, if you go that route.

Not certain it's Nikasil, but no mention of 'oversize pistons' in the
parts list/manual, only (6) matched piston/cylinder diameters, so I am
guessing it is.

I suspect you are right. I am still clearly in denial. Best to confirm
if at least a new piston is available, in hopes of re-plating, before
going any further I think.
