Well, I was wondering whether there would be loads of people I'm happy
to meet for the first time and/or loads of people I've met and would
like to meet again, or whether it's a bunch of cunts.

As this is ukrm I suppose "all of the above" would fit.

Reasonable and I'm not saying because I never do.

You take pot luck I'm afraid, suffice to say the turnout will be as good
as all the previous OSMs I've 'organised'[1]. No-one who wants to axe
you has expressed a desire to attend.........yet.

[1] I can't really call booking a pub and sticking a couple of posts on
    a newsgroup organising.

What is? EOSM, or someone wanting to axe you ... ;)

Sadly, I shall be unable to bless the multitude with my presence; it
would have been good to put faces to names and get shitfaced in the
company of like-minded cunts, but time and tide dictate otherwise.

  13. I shall get over at some point, hopefully co-inciding with a *OSM meet,
but atm things financial and organisational preclude any jaunts
    overseas.

not me - whilst the rest of you fuckers are shivering in tents, I'm
going to be relaxing in an executive suite in the "Royal Wing" of the
    Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing, but odds on it involves a delightful
combination of being in Her Majesty's South, and fucking.
