They both look good (technically / for the price etc).

Do you have experience of them being extra wide fitting?

I've never really had what you could call big feet considering my
height (9 / 6'2") but often had to go up a couple of sizes to get
    something wide enough.

Similar with trouser leg lengths, shirts (size 18 collar) and helmets
(I'm a Shoei shape head and an XL).

Maybe that's why I've never been interested in 'fashion', none of it
    ever fitted me. ;-(

The latter ones I have worn a pair. my feet are a wide fitting and S-9 but
that's not to say same as you. Give cissbury a call.

some of the blokes on site here were using the Scruffs type boots which
seemed popular, again you can give them a call.

Ok thanks. <draws round foot on bit of paper and measures ... 11-1/4",
heel to big toe and 4-1/4" across widest point?>
    Will do.

Hmm, might be spoilt for choice now! ;-)

I like the "The Scruffs Cyclone 2 boot is a motorcycle style boot cut
rigger" bit, based on the thought that these things generally evolve
to suit their use etc (like the Hunter welly boot if you are walking /
    shooting etc).

    Thanks again.
