I have noticed you sat that a lot.

I wonder if there is a connection?

  2. I don't commute by bike anymore - it wasn't worth it timewise by the
time you add in changing time plus if I ended up at a different office
for meetings having to return to my office to pick the bike up. There's
no point in riding the bike to other offices because there are no
parking spaces available during the day.

Tottenham Hale is worse because three lanes now merge into two because
of the bus lane. Seven Sisters traffic lights have been altered so you
get huge jams for the single lane filter towards Finsbury Park and the
jams block back into the two lanes from Tottenham Hale. All the roads
from there to Camden have been "modified" to reduce the number of lanes,
add in bus lanes, add in loads of traffic lights and there are traffic
cameras every 300 yards from Manor House to Camden. It was OKish when I
rode in on the Tube Strike day but I set off very early - I'd hate to
see it at 8am or so. Don't know about the Stamford Hill bit as I rarely
    go that way.

    trust me, it's shit.

I normally do A10/Green Lanes down to Newington Green in the morning -
    relatively stress free.

need to find a decent route back, mind.
