To be honest I've got other things to be more annoyed about at the
moment, like the fact J picked me up from the airport a few hours ago &
promptly dumped me. So much for looking forward to getting home to see
    her.

    Not the slightest of hints.
Very. I'm doing my best to turn it into anger & spite though.
    Thanks - I think.
I prefer the 'little black book' approach tbh.

    Indeed, commiserations.
Difficult and fickle things are wimmin. What was her excuse or reasoning(1)
    then.

Revert to plan C where no one wimmin commands your attention perhaps.

Two years, but yes. Pretty much the same reasons too.
I've still got a house full of her animals, & she hasn't got transport
if I don't let her keep the pick-up for a while, which may have
    something to do with that.

I'd have thought it rather obvious.

She's read about Harley buying MV and has bailed before you come out of
    the closet.

The rabbit & guinea pig certainly are. In fact I read Dreaming of
Jupiter last week & Ted Simon mentions a guinea pig feast in Peru.

Fickle's not the right word - more 'emotionally trashed'.
Me neither, but yes - mental train-wreck territory.

  19. Spookily enough I cooked my first Vindaloo at the weekend. It was
pretty easy but I need to remomber the following:

1/ Make the chicken chunks smaller or marinade them for longer.
2/ Don't try eating it cold the next day. Warm it first.
3/ Use proper wine vinegar and not cider vinegar.

As you say - it isn't mega-hot but well-spiced. And cooking it in
mustard oil definately adds to the flavour.
