It seems the cold, wet, miserable ride to the EOSM will be my last for
some time, as I renounce my two# and join the warm, dry hordes for the
    winter (sunny days excepted)

(Why does my office suddenly smell of boiled sprouts?)

There's a Lamborghini Countach for sale at a small garage near where I live.
I pass it every day on the way to and from work. I remember seeing one as a
kid, and always wanting one myself, though at £19k it's a bit much seeing as
I have no money. Hey ho. One day.... one day....

How anyone can get excited about any other car when Aston Martins
    exist...

Why get excited about cars when bikes exist? Cars are just there to
carry stuff you can't carry on a bike, any car that is useless at
carrying things or getting lots of shopping is a waste of metal.

That red one? You'd also need to budget for getting the interior trimmed
    out in Burberry...

Compare an Aston Martin DB9 to a Bandit 600. I know which I'd rather
have. And they're both about as practical as each other.

The very same, although looking on Autotrader this evening, I find out that
    it isn't actually a real Lambo, it's just a lookey-likey. A very expensive
    one at that!
    Mmmmm... Burberry interior.... lurvely.

Definitely worth buying then. I've worked on and driven both real ones
and replicas. The originals are very very badly nailed together with
some pretty poor materials in places, yet most of the replicas I've seen
have been lovingly crafted and assembled by their owners and are far
    better than the real thing.

I always reckoned that the best ones were the pre wheel-arch and spoiler
    crap ones.

The best ones are the ones containing two birds in jumpsuits.
