    Cheers for the DFV'ing.

Very nice meal, and good company[1]. Bambi was very tasty, shame there
    wasn't enough to go round.

Pity we had to bugger off so early 'cos of the doggie sitter, but good to
meet up with some old faces again.

[1] For UKRM values of "good", obviously.
[2] Didn't seem right to leave the dog home alone on fireworks night. Not
that he gave a toss at all, apparently.

Thank you indeed, even though I didn't make it for various reasons.

Glad a good time was had by all.

Next time there's a meal on I'd very much like to pop along. I'll
    keep my eyes open.

Yep, excellent do, and also thanks to Platy for ferrying us up there
so we could drink (too much, as it turned out), for putting up with us
and for giving us a good breakfast next day. Thanks all round, in
    fact.

    I didn't say otherwise...
I'd have to get my vaccinations up to date, but it's worth the risk.
