  2. ...and it hasn't got a repainted exhaust & cylinder either! You
can have mine back for £1500! (£1520 if I throw in the gasket set.)

You don't happen to know if it's still got the original tubes?
I've got puncture assistance cover, but still...

  3. Christ, it's up to 1300 sovs now..... And, I've just noticed, reserve
    not met. Jeez.

As regards your tubes, they are almost certainly the originals, yes, as
    it's wearing the original tyres.

  4. I'd noticed that; between us we may have already talked up the
    expectations of DT175 sellers...
I figured as such; I'd like to get modern tyres and tubes on it
ASAP but it's not going to happen this weekend. I'm going to have to use
it to run back and forth to Oxon. next week.

  5. <snip>

And look at that! A perfect example of someone who has tried just that
little bit too hard. £1300, no further bids, reserve not met.

ISTR valuing your DT at 1200 quid privately; 1400-1500 from a dealer.
Shame this guy wasn't listening.... He should have set the reserve a
    shade lower.
