Shit that buy it now price is a fucking steal for the year/miles/condition.
A small amount more would put it in good shape. The colour is ok IRL, better
than the yellow most owners seem to have. If it was local I would be round
    there today.

you'd think with "20 years experience in the trade", he'd be able to
fix the "simple" problems with the bike before listing it.

Indeed, and apart form liking the yellow ones, I've a lot mintier ones
of similar vintage go for only a couple of hundred quid more.

Anyway, it looks like the budget for T's cage replacement has crept up
by about £2k, so any budget I might have had for adding to the bike
fleet before reducing it has now been allocated :-(

Hmm. IME whan a seller says that a problem like the oil leak "is
probably just a..." probably isn't and probably will turn out to
    require rather more expense.

Well I had a yellowy gold T595 like most others, no black ones were
available from Trump at the time. It was gash. I think the Boxer Cup in
    blue/white looks great, as per GSXR1000 K1/2.
Pip pointed out the all new Ubber Boxer sports bike at Snett, R1200S. It's
pretty amazing looking. After all these years of beemer ownership it still
didn't stir me. I know it will be unreliable. It has poorly finished bits
like the injector wiring. I know it still can't match a Ducati for
performance, finish, handling, reliability or residuals.
It reminded me of you! or maybe of a dozen others.

I just *don't do* holding back.

It's only going to be the filler plug or the sump pan. Both easily fixed. If
it was a base gasket it would be immediately apparent on inspection.
