Agreed. Having said that, there are cheap playable acoutics to be
found, but only to be bought by someone who knows what they're doing.
Mo - do you know a guitarist you can drag along?

 

You'll be lucky, she never does what I tell her, so I don't know why you
think she'll do what you tell her.

 

Can't say I do but there's a local shop where the staff seem knowledgeable
so I reckon that would be a good bet, however I didn't like the look of the
£1500 Stratocasters - that wasn't the price range I was thinking of.

I wouldn't necessarily expect bargains - I would expect a good range
of stuff and staff who knew what they were talking about, tho.
