ahh, was that you about the ratties in gloustershire? forgot i haddnt replied to that (having tons of emails going back and forth for people wanting stickers making) unfortunately we cant take on anymore ratties at the moment, i only have room for 4 in the cage in the motorhome, and we're going to be using that a lot this year, plus with my lot being 'delicate' at the moment, they may not take too kindly to being intro'd to a couple of new cage mates (lionheart was a little barstard when we introduced the girls to him, mind he'd recently had his balls removed, so i guess we were being a bit cruel However, tell the owners to try www.fancy-rats.co.uk theres always people on there who take in unwanted ratties, and either foster them and re-home or keep them themselves,
short term homes can be found here - anything from a few seconds to a month. Depends on the size of the last one. http://www.snakes-for-sale.co.uk/

In fact we have a snake but I think he'd struggle with these guys. Err... if anyone wants to buy a snake, give me a shout.
one of my rats wouldent mind a snake to play with, he managed to chomp through my GF's finger pretty well the other day, and has gone through my finger to the bone (via the fingernail... my fault for seeing if he likes marmite by diping my finger in it and offering him it) he's 700 grams of pure muscle, if he dosent like something, he makes it clear, and he's had plenty of practice killing those white or black snakes that lay about the house from plugs to appliances. not sure honey would like to see a snake again tho, she was origionaly a snakes meal when aged 4 weeks old, but jumped out of the tank as the snake pounced apparantly, (she can jump 4 foot straight up with ease) she then got out the shop and i found her in the carpark (i'd gone there to get some live mealworms for my ratties)
