  1. How do I stop a certain friends' list from seeing my info?

I've gone settings | privacy settings | then selected customise and
entered the name of the list in the "except these people" drop-down and
done that all the way through but my info and photos etc are visible to
all. Surely I don't have to enter each one individually!?

Close your facebook account and go do something less boring instead...

I almost tend to agree with that advice though, I find Facebook a
complete mess, and often feel it's quite intrusive.

However, I think you do have to approve each 'friend' for different
    privileges.

Oh yes you do but if you feel that way about someone why not block
    them completely.

  6. I'll see if blocking them works. I need them there for certain
    applications to work.

I've yet to find out how you can block certain 'friends' from Facebook Chat.

  9. Nope, doesn't work.

    ****, shit, piss, arsehole.

I'll try what Cane suggested and block one and see if they're still in
the game. If not then I'll just put some nudey shots of me with a
fireman's hose where I don't know where it's going to go yet. Probably
    upwards.
