Worth their weight in gold. Be nice to grandmas, they're your main
source of getting rid of the squalling shitting brat.

Aye but my mums 75 so she's not going to be up to coping for long. Julies
mum is probably going to look after Junior 2 days a week so Julie can go
back to work. We'll put it in a nursery 2 days a week and as I do a 9 day
fortnight I will look after it one week and Julie is hoping to take a days
holiday for the other week for the first 6 months or so. We thought that
would be a nice balance for the child, Some exposure to other children,
some to grandparents(My mum going down for a few hours here and there) and
we both get time with it. This way Julie can go back at about 2 hours less
than she does now and it won't cost us the earth in nursery fees

Start feeding her multivitamins and gin.
    What does she do?
Youngest was in a nursery one day a week from about 2 months as I was
finishing my degree. Be prepared for the inevitable bugs picked up
from the older kids. Oh and a good local childminder works out
    cheaper.
Welcome to the wonderful world of sprog juggling.
Oh it will, it always does <g>

    She doesn't drink(Claims it's for meds but it isn't)
She only has a part time job, 5-7 evenings so she said she'll look after
Junior 8-2 giving her a bit of time before she goes to work.
Cheers As its full days its £27/day and the nursery is 200yds from where
Julie works and about 600yds from her mums its very handy.

Aye, At the moment teh 10 in 9 is only an informal agreement, once its an
established pattern I'll put in for a formal change to my contract under
    the EU regs.
Better than the £130 a week they want for full time )
