Go on, buy her a track day voucher as a Christmas present - she'd love
it, and she'd be *way* faster than a lot of the boys with their track
    bikes and tyre warmers.

    :-D

Actually, I don't think I had any "moments", so I obviously wasn't going
fast enough; the only time something happened that made me back off for
a bit was when my toe and footpeg touched down unexpectedly, even though
I had the ball of my foot on the peg and thought I was hanging off like
a deranged orang-utan, with my knee stuck so far out I thought I was
    going to strain something.

I was going to get her one for her birthday in July, but couldn't sort the
    right dates.

Possibly sort before we sell the GSX :)

This GSX. Good runner, is it? Sort of thing a sprightly young wuffian
might consider riding to the Dark Continong?

    Just asking, like.

Oh. That's (quite frankly) pretty fucking inconsiderate, getting my
    hopes up like that.

    Don't you agree?

<picks up stick and throws it for the dog>

The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed that there are two different
GSXs in YTC#1's sig. The one which he is thinking of selling is not the
one that would be eligible for the Afrika Korps trip.

So you're both right, in a way.

The XS250 is Gibbo's, mine is the GSX250[1]... as per sig !

    [1] Currently in Gibbo's shed though :)

Yer, but Champ's had wrong bike completely :)

So, Nige, what's the story with needing a GSX250 ?

Well, any moderately sensible 250 really. It's for Shite Old Bikes To
    Morocco.

Ooh! What's the tank range? I don't want to be the one always stopping
