....sorry, what was that about England only just scraping through qualifying? :-)
Ah, well you seemed to be interested enough in footie, not least the England squad, within the last few days, to determine they'd only just scraped through the qualifying heats, did you not?
You'd have to be blind, deaf and potentially dead to not know what was happening with the english football team. Like I said yesterday, knowing something does not indicate an interest in it.
I'm none of the above and read papers on a regular basis but as soon as I see a football story I skip it; just don't have any interest.

If you don't know who the names refer to the headlines are in fact pretty meaningless. -- _______ ..'_/_|_\_'. Ace (brucedotrogers a.t rochedotcom) \`\ | /`/ GSX-R1000K3 `\\ | //' BOTAFOT#3, SbS#2, UKRMMA#13, DFV#8, SKA#2 `\|/` `
If it's in the sports section, not a problem since I generally only scan that for cricket. If it's in the main news section I don't really pay any attention- last story I can remember was the woman at the FA who accussed everyone that worked there of trying to shag her resulting in constructive dismissal. I think I take an active disinterest in football.
