not a bad write-up. hmmm. wonder what price buying the pro-link one (which as the man says has better suspension) and tuning the engine up to original CBX-Z standard? depends, I suppose, on exactly how they detuned it. Ditching the fairing is probably not that hard and I daresay it'd look a lot better than the modern faired stuff without it.
I've seen a couple of de-faired Mark Twos and they look nice. A CBX is *hugely* tunable, incidentally, because they were actually in a very mild state of tune as new. In fact, exactly the same state of tune as a Z650, which was older and had but two valves per cyclinder.
Those are the same engine bars I've just fitted. Dead easy it was, apart from removing the rear engine mounting bolt. -- | ___ Salad Dodger |/ \ _/_____\_ GL1500SE-V/CBR1100XX-X/CBX1000Z |_\_____/_| ..75939.../...19198.../..30340. hmmm... might be worth thinking on then. I've fancied one since they first appeared when I were nowt but a nipper. Mind, I'd have to get rid of the SOBoxer, if so, I spose. I don't think I can justify 2 bikes on the road, and keeping 'em longterm and not using 'em isn't really what it's about.
hmmm. Putting "CBX" into eBay came up with among other things, this: http://tinyurl.com/9h8zo I believe the American term is "eeewww"
