    In communiqué
Unlike Helmut Dahne for the 1974 Production TT, on his R90S, when he
    finished third.

Me too, I was imagining Terry Nation ....

I was wondering what a Dr Who screenwriter was doing racing bikes ..

Ta - just picked up a copy in Sainsbury's

For some reason, it was almost deserted.

Same reason I was lying in the middle of the road scratching my
    arse ...

    .... because I could ...

Nice little article - I was particularly buoyed by the "you can still
pick up examples for £5000" quote.

Looks like the owner put a lot of elbow grease into that restoration.

Heh. I recall that Performance Bikes rode a UK endurance race back to
Blighty after it had completed the Le Mans 24-hours, a few years ago.

Superb story, including some high-octane encounters with French
police, who had a definite sense of humour failure.

My one has an MOT due in the next two weeks.

Should be fine, then I'll probably rip it up and send the bits to Beav
for a fettle over the winter. Clean up the motor and re-silver it, and
touch up the frame where necessary.

Some Ebaying may prove necessary, too, I fear.

I wish I hadn't bought that mag now - I've even rejoined the CBXOC.
