During a pre Ebay-fest clear out of the garage I have come across two
pannier mounting frames for a BMW R65.

    Do you want them?

probably not, mate - flog 'em and makea few quid.

I really just want to get the thing fixed and sold, TBH, though all my
circular tuits are being consumed by work-related crap at the moment,
    so it's on hold really.

    So do I.
You found a "how to post to usenet at work" tuit, though, thank ****.
It's pretty dull around here when the people I like aren't around.

Oh, a Jonathan Coe novel got delivered to me yesterday. Read a few
pages last night. Am looking forward to getting home and getting a
    bit further.

heh - on the other hand, are you interested in the pannier racks? It's
got a Givi top-box mount already, which I reckon is enough.
no - I'm not at work today. Or rather, yes, but I'm also not at work
    today.
    which one did you get?

    Oh **** no. If I want a tourer, I'll buy a Goldwing.
Erm, the one with the narcoleptic.

House of Sleep. You really want The Rotters' Club (his best yet) or
What A Carve Up! for top-quality Coe.

I'm ten pages from the end of Sleep. It's pos.

you're in for a treat then - Sleep is OK, but Rotter's Club and WACU!
    are a lot better.

ukrm-bookclub-wise, I've just finished (after putting it off for ages)
"The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency" - actually very entertainment,
though I'm not sure it actually counts as literature.

The sequel to Rotters is due out in a few weeks:

Waterstones or Ottakars or something had it in Richard and Judy's
    Book Club.

And I'm saying no more than that.

What is it then? I've got it somewhere in my pile of unread books: should
