..... so where's the "vote for your favourite ukrm t-shirt design" post then? :o)
sure. Seriously, Sorby's sent like, twelvety-hundred of the things. Well, more than 10 (really). I've done 3 myself. Even someone I've never heard of sent one.
well, in the event of a tie, the judging panel (me) favour anything in the Designer's Republic/Pixelart/K10K/DHKY mold.
oh, it was you, was it? I think in your email you just signed yourself "Steve", and I didn't know which one it was. Hint: Steve is quite a common name...
I fully expect anything vaguely DR-inspired to come bottom of any vote that might take place, and the winner to look like a Hanoi Rocks tour t-shirt ...
you'd be surprised at the quality on offer. There's a big trend towards staying with the culture-jamming "joke logo" style of the current offering, which is OK, with a few "wild card" strangenesses.
I've been trying to modify the Stella Artois logo but I'm crap at it and keep fucking it up. -- cane [at] ukrm.org ¦ fireblade, r30 botafo t#50 f#03 YTC #15 bbb #6 apostle [kotl] New? http://www.ukrm.net/faq/ukrmscbt.html Rideout? http://www.horrible.demon.co.uk/botafof/ "Brace yourselves ladies, I'm coming in dry"
I'm working on it.. but throwing your bike down the road in the anticipation of getting a new nickname was a little extreme..
I've counted now - the fucker's sent me 23. Actually, more than that, but he sent updates of a couple.
Can I just say that the request for designs came just at the right time, biorythmically speaking. It was a welcome distraction from the tedium of certain other aspects of my life. Can I also say that the quantity I submitted in no way reflects a desire to increase my chances of 'winning'. Honest! I was just on a creative roll. ) I'm quite happy to whittle them down to my favourite half-dozen if you'd prefer.
