Of the IT type, non IR35 possibly:

Do you claim mileage allowance travelling to clients site(s) ?

If so, how much, and is it only *to* the clients site, not site>home ?

Do you make a gain ?

    Thanks.

I am IR35, and I work PAYE for an umbrella. I do, however, claim
    mileage. Both ways.

    ?

Any mileage, i.e. home->site->home on a per-mile basis for the
first 10,000 miles as long as the contract doesn't exceed two
years. Once it exceeds two years (or you know it is going to[1])
    you can no longer claim.

    For a 2-litre car, it's currently 40p/mile.
Not sure what the rate is after 10,000 miles but the IR
    site will have all rates.
Sometimes, a fairly substantial one.)
    NP.

    [1] e.g. you've worked 18 months and they give you a 6 month
extension - better to get a 5 month extension at that point.
