Power Grainger fascinated us all by saying...
Will an origami'd copy of 'Le Monde' hold coffee?

The art is in getting as much coffee in the filter as possible without it
overflowing the paper and making the coffee all gritty :) Yum. Garfield
    would be proud.

Now this is ponsy: my coffee machine has a thermostat in the filter section
so it doesn't let any water out befor the filter section is completely full,
hence getting all the flavour out of the granules. Is there ANYTHING the
    Krauts can't improve on?!?!

They seem to be able to improve the ugliness of their bikes quite a lot.
    Does that count?

You lot prolly get the stinky coffee we don't use over here. Special
    'export' version ;-)
The gold pack from Aldi is just as good as DE coffee though.

Sir wants to get himself down to Whittards and join their coffee club, sir
    does.

We've had to economise somewhat of late; it got to the point I was buying
a kilo every other week and there's only two of us (and mainly that's me)
    drinking it.
    =8-o

Having polished off the Java Jampit, we're currently "stuck" with
Sainsbury's "original" beans which, to be honest, are okay but not
    special.

Still my all-time favourite beans are Guatemala Elephant.
    Mmm...

    I tried those - indeed a lovely flavour :)
Their Blue Mountain stuff is superb, but not if you're buying it yourself
    (£20 a kilo I think?!)

That said, when I was in Windsor there was a Whittards 5 minutes away - I
haven't got one near here now so it's whatever Tesco happen to have. :-/

And of course, who it's for.
