I resent the very implication. No probs actually, brake BU seal was
fine, the oil was from the LH fork seal.<rolls eyes>

 

Ah, puncture. Poor effort.

 

Bwahaha. No, that wasn't a sympathetic laugh.

 

Good old boy. Nobody thought to smell the escaped fluid, then? Even
so, that's the cleanest fork oil I've ever seen.

When you're putting the re-sealed fork leg back in, remember to fit new
brake caliper mounting bolts. With Loctite.

 

<g> I would have been shocked if it had been. Now, we just need to see
if your graunching has had any effect on the back end of Eddies
machine...

 

I'll have a word with my two consulting engineers.

Well quite. Proper fork oil is cloudy, brown and foul-smelling. Its
hardly suprising we didn't consider that option.

 

A new one, or did the plug he showed me not last?
