A quick look at fleabay shows no TTMA slate plaques up for grabs yet.
I wonder what a decent starting price would be or should I wait a
    while?

Adie'll never notice she's 'lost' her one.

Thank **** the TT's over. This place has been like a dullard convention
    for the last two weeks.

Wait a while. All the TT nutters will have blown their spends on T
shirts, let them have a pay day first.

Very nice freebie for all the hard working marshalls.
This year was the big one even though you're choosing to pretend it
    wasn't.
I chased a sidecar wheel up the road even though it suddenly dawned on
me it was actually flying towards me. I also tried to help tighten the
spark plugs up in a TZ750 engine sidecar that was trying to throw the
plugs through the riders chest. I also chased (1) a sidecar up the
road in a vain attempt (2) to stop the **** carrying on losing bits of
bodywork over the mountain. Why is it always the fucking sidecars that
    fall to pieces?

    (1) Very slowly. Janice says I'm not allowed on the track again
because I'm so fucked I can't run fast enough.

    (2) The bastards fucked off just as we reached them because they knew
they'd be out of the race if we caught them.

I think they take after their owners' minds.
You could probably beat her over 100 yards just at the moment...

Been another nasty at the Southern 100, did you see? Bad timing.

Having just watched the onboard of Molyneux going down Bray Hill, I'd
be diving for the straw bales at the Quarterbridge Hotel.

    ****. That. Game. Soldiers. Etc.

BTW, is that Shellgrip at the Keppel Hotel?

  11. Let me know if you need a passenger. A bit of notice would be nice so
that I can get a few good dinners inside me before though, otherwise I
    might be a bit pointless.

This is also an ambition of mine (strictly piloting though).
I made serious enquiries about an ex NHCA sidecar championship winning
outfit but it was snapped up very quickly.

An outfit lost the sidecar wheel going up the final straight at Shelsley
a couple of years ago. IIRC it still recorded an albeit disappointing
    time.

We both chased that one. I was just about to take my coat off before
the nob went past and I had to take up pursuit with a yellow. He
stopped a good half a mile up the road. Bastard.

I think they all do a visit to Harry's used sidecar emporium.

Often colourful characters, indeed. TBF, in this case, it was probably
the first timed run and championship points could be acquired by
crossing the line, and repairs would have been impossible before the
    second run.
