Paging BRC and other 04 R1 owners

    After my test ride I thought I quite fancy the R1 but it's major shortcoming
    seems to be the underseat exhaust and lack of fixings that seem to preclude
    the use of throwover panniers, which would be a bit restrictive on long
    jaunts.

    Have you had any luck with luggage in this respect? Also exactly how does
    the pillion suffer from the pipes?
