Yes, they gave you a bag as they boarded you. I don't think it's much
worse than the normal cattle-class service. Not sure though.

Ah right. They did this on the BSL-LHR leg, but I'm not sure what the
plebs had to do on the way back. In the club lounge they had boxes for
breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea containing sandwiches, wine,
    scones & clotted cream.

These are the nicely presented blue boxes? If so I'll regret the fact
that the gate gourmet 'thing' has ended since they are rather pleasing
to the eye and the food inside isn't that bad.

Then again I rarely eat on (short haul) planes so it won't make that
    much difference to me.

Don't remember the colour, but yes, they were nicely presented.
Cardboard boxes, they were, about 40cm*15cm.
Theye were certainly at least as good as I['d expect on board a
short-haul flight. Carrying them on yourself would be a bit of a
    hardship, though ;-)
I nearly always eat something of what's offered, even if it's crap.
Dunno why, some sort of survival mechanism, perhaps.

  6. I'll always peek at what the other people served before me are getting.
If it looks crap, I'll leave it and have something nicer later, on the
    ground.

I *always* take the little sachets of wet wipes off the aircraft,
though, and tuck them in with bike toolkits.

That'll be Puccino's then (or summat like that, anyway)

They're all over the place, though their menus and boards are vaguely
amusing if you're stuck on a platform.
