Message from TOG: "Can you tell him I've got his Chromework
here". Here presumably being Kempton Park.

Well, to be honest, I've been trying to field Blaney for a week or two
now, and he said he'd be at KP for the stuff, and he wasn't, and this
bloke waved cash under my nose, and money talks: bullshit walks.

    No offence, Ben.

    None taken.

Been busy at work. Kept forgetting to email you. Didn't have your
phone number on me. It's my own stupid, disorganised, lazy, inefficient
    fault.

But I did come round on Tuesday night - did Helen tell you? The
childminder appeared very suspicious of me giving your daughter what
could appear to be a cryptic message. I did think about waiting the
hour for you to get home, but I had to get up to Cambridge, check into a
hotel, and prepare for an early start on Wednesday morning.

Truth is, I was only going to have the bits off you because they were
there, and they would have been useful spares to have kicking around to
save me looking properly when the time came that I needed some. No
    problem.

Nice one. Did the childminder express her concerns about the weirdo who
    came round?

  8. No, because you are postiviely normal compared with what she normally
    has to deal with.

The Older Gentleman was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
    Heh. I don't think I've met her...
