I'd guessed it was something like that, but one each side seems a bit
    OTT.

I'm sure it was designed to go round left-handers
just as well as it does round right-handers, YTC.

what I meant is, why can't both forks share a centrally mounted
reservoir - it's not like your actually going to want different
    pressures in them, is it?

    No use back-pedaling now!

I would presume it's because the bit that needs the gas
is located at the axle, which makes it difficult to run
a line between the two without going up and over the wheel.
It would then require a reservoir mounted somewhere near
the yokes at the headstock and taking up space - there's
also an air duct in that region that probably fills all
the available space anyway. Don't forget that the lines
would have to move with the wheel as you're going from
static to moving (headstock to axle) so you then end up
with flexing lines, chafing problems and more points of
    failure.

    Besides, it looks cool, ok?

why didn't you just say that in the first place - that's by far a more
convincing argument for me than all that technical crap.

  8. Just like the Morris Minor Centre in Bristol can build you a brand new
Moggie if you want them to. Other than gearboxes - some bits of them
    are like gold dust (apparently).
