Yes - you coming along? We're putting the data logger
onto the 600ss which should be a laugh to see how
crap I am at the trackside!

Guess I better email my mobile number over.

Pietro told me about it. I'm working in that area, so may even pay my
45 quid and take the bike to work that day and plan a route ending up
there. I'm not expecting there'll be a lot of track time, but it'll be
nice to get some laps in there. Are they doing Indy or GP circuit?
    Ok.

Looks like I won't be out on track.

On the advice of those who know, I'm pulling out because my front discs
are fucked. There's way too much play in the carriers and bobbins. I'll
come along to make tea and spectate though.

Looks like Mr Harris will be swiping my plastic pretty soon :-(

If you've already paid, you're more than welcome to take
the racebike out ... might be an ... "education" ?
Hmm. What are you thinking of going for? I really don't like a
lot of the so called "performance" disks as I really don't think
they're any better than what you get OEM. I'd be tempted to ditch
them for some decent Brembos, but then I would say that.

I called it short before I paid. I really need to sort the brakes out.
Thanks for the offer of the racebike, but you're probably aware that I
    don't do CIHAGM rides.
I'll get AP Racing discs again because they are matched to the pad
size, which is different to the OE in height. When they're fitted I'll
keep a closer eye on the bobbins and not let them get so bad that they
take the carriers out like these have.

If it's the bobbins alone, they are 80 quid a side for a full set. The
disc carriers are another 160 quid each on top of that. Harris will do
me a complete set of discs with brand new rotors as well for 436 quid.

There's not much option really. These ones do have excessive play, so
I'm going to pull all the bobbins out and measure the bobbin slots in
the rotors and carriers this weekend. Let's see if I can get away with
just a set of bobbins for now.
