whatever happened to the quizzes?
If you're going to do one, can you try to get it done before 1 o'clock, please? Gives me half-an-hour to have a crack at it before I go for my train. Only if we're allowed to google.
might be. I'm bored, and I'd rather do a silly quiz than write this load balancing. a more general one might be better...
I'm still waiting for his essay on the state of censorship in the UK in the light of "Intimacy" and "9 Songs".
How are you on the Holy Shroud? There's a nice little tiff about it going on in uk.local.geordie at the moment.
<thread hijack> What do you use while solving those sudoku puzzles? Computer program or pen n paper? Tried them out today, and ISTR you being someone who does them.
I've got an Excel thingy which can either; 1. Print out a large version to save you having to squeeze tiny numbers into all of the boxes. 2. Go through and mark in each cell which values are possible for that cell based on what's in the same row, column and box. 3. Or, if you want, solve it for you. It will only solve to the point where it can't get any further without having to guess an answer. Please - I'd like to see one of your creations. I had a bash yesterday, and I'm now working through [1] using [2] to save on printing loads of sheets out. I just wondered if there were any better ways to do it. [1] http://www.griffiths-jones.co.uk/sudoku/ [2] http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/mark/sudoku/
