Well - it allows you to use imap.. so as long as you have a working
imap setup then yes.

I use qmail at home (and procmail for filtering into the
imap subfolders) and it seems to work fine.

Indeed. Squirrel sucks. There is another one I used to use called
jwebmail (search on freshmeat for it) but eGroupware is nicer cos
it has other funky stuff.

Does it allow you to use https? That is one
of the reasons why I chose eGroupware - it works equally well via
http or https..
