    Very quick review.

The Abba Superbike stand that you can see here:
    http://www.abbastands.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=1

Is a brilliant bit of kit, very well made (over engineered Id say) and
does exactly what it says it does.

Forget paddock stands, this really is the way forward.

I bought one when I had the daytona. I didn't see the point of buying a
single-sided swingarm suitable stand, then having to buy another one if
    I got a double-sided swingarm bike later.

It's solid, the bike's stable when it's up, and it's a doddle to get
the bike on and off it. Having used "normal" ones, I don't see why
    anyone would use anything else.

Had one for ages. One useful tip: gaffa tape the adapters to the
stand, or risk finding one day that you only have one adapter. This
stops them falling out while manoeuvering the stand under the bike,
    too.

Thats a good idea, only had mine for three days and one popped out
    already while shifting it around.

What i like is how soilid the bike feels on the stand, its balanced
well so the front wheel is get uppable too.

I've got one[1] similar that allows me to take both wheels out at the
same time. It really is one of the most useful things I've bought.

[1] Made by a company in Norwich whose name escapes me.

To do this with an Abba, just jack up the front of the bike, or get a
biffer on the back of it.

Yup, we had one down The Workshop, donated by the boss at Abba whose mum
    lives just around the corner.

It came with a big bag of adaptors and the trick is to make sure you've
picked the right one's for each bike, not necessarily the same both sides,
and though we did come across a few models it didn't fit, when it worked it
    was great.

The long arm made it tricky to use on the bike lifting ramps as these had
raised edges at the side, while the modified car ramps were fine.

Yep. I used mine on the bike lift, then ran a ratchet strap from the back
wheel to one of the cross bars on the base of the lift. A quick pump and the
front wheel was off the decl of the lift allowing an easy brake disc swap
and a check of the head bearings.

Excellent bit of kit is an Abba stand.

Mine *just* fits on the lift between the raised edges. And I mean *just*.

Those legs would've been modified if it hadn't.

  12. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique,
That's all very well, but how do you get it right side up again?
