I might have asked you before, but what model of RGV250 is this one I
bought of you? There's bloody millions of them.

I don't know the first thing about RGVs, they have the wrong name on the
fuel tank. I think Jack Hackett's your man when it comes to non-Yamaha
    2-strokes, or possibly even AnthonyE.

I thought Lozzo was a strictly Yamaha man for 2-strokes?

It's got USD forks, so it's definitely a later one, but there seems to
be very big differences between models. Early ones appear to have had a
    18" rear wheel, FFS.

    ah - might be useful.

One problem with this sort of identification is that mine isn't a
    standard colour scheme.

I'll see if I can work it out from the other details.

I'd like to buy a few bits and bobs for it, but they're all very model
specific, which is why I was asking.

  6. The chassis number should be able to tell you, failing that there's a
good RGV forum that has a good tech section with pics of all the models.

If I had space in the garage I'd have another like a shot.

    smashing, thanks.
well, I've ridden mine twice (it's not even remotely road legal), but
I'm planning to do a couple of trackdays soon-ish.

I was just poking around on eBay, and there are loads of bits and
pieces for them (specifically, I had my eye on a set of wheels, as I
want to have a wet and dry set).

Correct, I don't know much about those either, really.

  9. I haven't got a clue. Perhaps if you tell Lozzo the chassis number, he
    might be able to help?

  12. Take it to Rockingham. You won't regret it. And as a bonus, it already
knows its way around the track.

  13. If you don't get a result, let me know and I can probably trace its
history. I know its last three owners before me.

  14. Oh blimey, can't remember. There's so many. I think barring the oval
bit, it's all pretty much suited to that bike.
