  1. Sounds like you need a touring bike!

Just because I'm planning on doing 1500Km this weekend doesn't mean I'm
touring ! You need a BMW (with optional coffee plunger and jaffle iron,
not to mention a heated vest) for that.

    JL
(sat on the Goldwing with the landing gear yesterday at Central Coast-
it doesnt feel as huge as it looks. Now thats what you need for touring

  6. Oh, JL, for the fuel range!
I'd be happy to have one as well.

Yeah well, I suspect my fuel range is going to rapidly diminish now the
Raptor has a freer flowing exhaust and a Power commander, allowing me
to be EPA and environmentally unfriendly in my noise and gas emissions.

(there's a fart joke in there somewhere :)

  8. Just ask Robert. He'll lock it and give you the key if you want. May need to
sit the bikes in the sun for a while next morning this time of year.

    Well, what an eventful weekend!
Watch yourself on the singleton-dungog leg of this journey, I copped a
puncture on saturday because of all the loose gravel and such. Luckily, Greg
at Blackhawk motorcycles came and put my bike in the back of his ute, we
fitted an internal plug and I was back on the road having lost only 3 hours.
of course those three hours had to be the clearest of the day, twas overcast
    for most of the remainder.
Events conspired to keep JL at arms length as I had no mobile coverage in
Walcha which could be a good thing perhaps? (Three coverage sucks donkey
    balls outside Sydney, I've found)

Anyway, I've gotta get back up to the Oxley ASAP! What a brilliant stretch
    of Bitumen!

    Cheers
    Phil
"> > I'll be doing 2 laps of the Oxley on Saturday (and another on Sunday)
