Oxford Tank Bags.....

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Doesnotcompute, Feb 26, 2004.

  1. Before I purchase one - does anybody have an Oxford/sports tankbag they
wish to sell? In the proper colour obviously, and prefereably with a map
    pocket on top.

Don't you need a bike to make use of one of those?

I've got an Oxford Sports tankbag in black with the aforementioned map
pocket which I've been planning on eBaying. Haven't used it in a while and
I could live without it. Make me a sensible offer and I'll think about it.

  14. I have one I made out of paper and some blue-tac I found on the floor the
other day, I also have a set of crayons and can make it any colour you'd
like. It's a bit greasy due to the fish and chips it had in it, but this
does a cracking job of keeping the damp out, although you might want to keep
    away from the seaside.

    DAMHIKIJD, OK?!!!!!!!

I'm afraid I can't throw in the string used to fasten it to the bike, as I
    use this to strangers.

    Yours for a fiver.

It's an Oxford Sports expandable (not humpback) in excellent used
condition. I'll probably just eBay it because, having searched
completed items, they seem to go for 35 - 37 quid.
